This little girl dreams is filled with off-white chiffons and silk coating and fluffing all around her. With bright sunny sky that matched the long white isle with white carnations majestically beautify her way to meet the man that will made her happy for the rest of her life. In her dream she is happy with the wedding dress fit admiringly on her. Jumping around in the flawy dress, which was hand weaved with love and respect for her, she knew that she will stand elegantly beside a man of her dream in her match made in heaven wedding dress.

As she fantasizes about her dream wedding dress, the girl heard laughter from angels not far from where she was standing. The angels are admiring her wedding dress, saying that it is the most beautiful dress that they ever laid their eyes on. They said she looked like an angel with that wedding dress. Indeed she felt like one, so pure, so fragile and she continued twirling with the gorgeous wedding dress on as her ‘wings’ to heaven...”

-‘SOGNI BELLI’ by HATTA DOLMAT this year is all about wedding collections in 2009. From bride to bridesmaid, every piece is couture. Comes from an Italian word, ‘SOGNI BELLI’ which means ‘Sweet Dreams’, was inspired from western couture design. Putting himself out of the ordinary, Hatta who loves embellishments brings new breath to his latest wedding collections by keeping the designs off from diamonds and crystals detailing.

SOGNI BELLI: SWEET DREAM WEDDING COLLECTIONS 2009/2010

Hatta Dolmat truly challenged himself with this collection, deviating from his signature heavily embroidered embellishments usually associated with his previous designs. However, staying true to his passion of designing couture dresses, choosing an all white fabric for his specially made collections for MIFA, pushes Hatta Dolmat’s creativity up to the sky.

This young designer’s collection, sleek and sculptured as always are greatly inspired by Eastern shapes and detailing. Hatta Dolmat, the winner of Anugerah Jarum Berlian 2005 follows designers like Lagerfeld for Chanel and Elie Saab who have presented an all white collections in their previous seasons. Off-white which is the new white now, gives Hatta the new identity he wants for his new collections.

There are no room for error in an all white collection, every default can be seen and must be avoided. Hatta challenges himself again by choosing taffeta silk for his 2009 wedding collection.

Sogni Belli, Wedding collection 2009 by Hatta Dolmat uses Taffetas as a main fabric. Having strong structured feel like the Dutchess satin and an elegance and romantic shine as a Shantung Silk, the taffetas were used in all his design comprising of a complete collection of dresses for Flower girl, Brides maid, Brides to be and Bridegroom of an A-shape, hourglass and empire cut of short dress, ball gown, wedding gown, and haute couture. To give a more regal and royal design to his collection, an all white and off-white ensemble of fabrics such as tulle silk, satin silk and chiffons were used to collaborate with the taffetas .

For this collection Hatta featured two young and glamour celebrity female muse to walk the isle wearing his designs. Juliana Evans and Diana Danielle will be beautifully wrapped up in the couture pieces of Sogni Belli

Sogni Belli presents and pours more focus on draping, pleating and tulle gathers technique, giving it a more international look which set it apart from most traditional wedding dress readily available in the local market. Sogni belli collection is purely a dream come true to all women who wish to have a perfect white wedding.
